Mediation session rates
All joint mediation sessions run for 90 minutes as standard. Your first step is always a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM), which takes place separately before any joint sessions begin.

The £500 government mediation voucher
The government's Family Mediation Voucher Scheme provides up to £500 per family towards the cost of mediation where child arrangements are involved. This includes both children-only mediation and all-issues mediation where children and finances are discussed together.
The voucher is applied directly to your joint session costs. You do not need to apply for it yourself. Mediate UK claims it on your behalf and deducts it from your bill automatically, as long as your case is eligible.
Families where child arrangements (where a child lives or spends time) are part of the mediation. Available regardless of income.
Up to £500 off the cost of joint mediation sessions. It does not cover the MIAM, documentation, or legal packages.
The voucher is not currently available for mediation about finances only, where no child arrangements are involved.
Fixed-fee legal packages
Once you reach an agreement in mediation, you will need your agreement put into a legal document. Our fixed-fee packages bundle your mediation sessions and legal work together, and every pound you have already spent on mediation is deducted from the package price.

OFS and MOU are free when included in any fixed-fee legal package.
Court form completion packages
If mediation has broken down or is not suitable, and you need to make an application to court, our McKenzie Friend team can help you complete the required court forms accurately and affordably. This service is typically £700 to £2,000 less expensive than using a solicitor.
All packages cover either a C100 form (child arrangements) or Form A (finances). Choose the package that matches your situation below.
