Can I afford mediation?
Mediation is a far more cost-effective method to resolve your dispute. A solicitor will quote upwards of £20,000 plus VAT if your case goes to court for a full financial hearing. Most solicitors charge upward of £250 plus VAT per hour.
At £115 per person per hour, our mediation is amongst the most cost-effective options available. Every pound you pay, including the hourly mediation rate, can go toward any fixed fee legal package you choose – saving you thousands in solicitor fees to make your mediated agreement legally binding.
Included in the cost of your mediation is the time taken for the mediator to prepare for your session, write up any notes from your meetings and obtain your financial disclosures.
We do not charge extra for sending emails or letters, or for phone calls.
Once you have reached an agreement, we can work out the most cost effective legal package for you based on the number of mediation sessions you have used.
Remember, you will only pay the hourly rate for mediation until you are ready to choose a legal package that is best suited to you.
