    We set up family mediation Northampton as we already work very closely with DFA Law, who are directly based on the other side of the town.   Mediate UK are based in the BizSpace Offices, a modern and friendly environment, which is based within an industrial type park. There is ample parking, and even a self-serve honesty café if you get peckish!

    Directions: Situated in the Northeast of Northampton, the BizSpace offices are located off Kingsfield Way in the industrial and business park. If driving south down Gladstone Road, you will see  Alert Self Storage on your left. Take the right into Kingsfield Way and follow the road round to the right. At the end of the road, turn left into the BizSpace car park. You will see the main entrance on your left as you drive in.

    Background: I previously worked in the City prior to retraining as a soft tissue therapist following having a family. I then trained as a family mediator with the Family Mediators Association.

    Why did you want to become a family mediator?
    I was looking for a new role which honed in on the skills I had already acquired through my career past and present, with the capacity of giving me not only diversity but longevity. My passion has always been humanity.

    What do you like most about Family mediation?
    Mediation never presents the same case twice. You often have to think outside the box and this brings with it an ongoing cycle of personal development and problem solving. It’s challenging but wholly rewarding

    What is the most difficult mediation situation you have dealt with?
    Not a question I can answer in detail as human behaviour is often driven by something that is deep routed and as individuals, we all have our own set of values and beliefs. Therefore, it is often difficult to listen to individuals who have lived their lives in desperately difficult and often lonely situations in fear of leaving.
