Why did you want to become a family mediator?
I wanted to have a career that made a difference to people’s lives and how they approached a separation, especially concerning children.
What do you like most about Family mediation?
That it can literally change how two people view a very hurtful and distressing time.
What is the most difficult mediation situation you have dealt with?
The most difficult ones always involve children and where two parents are struggling to see beyond themselves. One that often comes to mind involved a father who had various unsavory habits. As part of a child consultation meeting the children articulately asked their father to ‘act more like a dad than a naughty school mate, shave and turn up on time when picking us up’. The son was aged 12!
What do you enjoy most about working with Mediate UK?
I am extremely excited to be part of such a well organised service, that prides in choosing a diverse group of mediators.
Give us 5 facts about you:
1. I am a mother of two beautiful boys who keep me super busy.
2. I love walks and drinks with friends and family.
3. I was born in this country, but I am Italian, I spoke Italian before English.
4. Due to recent times, I have found a passion for gardening and will happily garden until the sun sets.
5. Being in a multi-faith marriage with a Muslim, we try where we can, to educate against stereotypes and disappointing judgements.

Really helpful into the options I could possibly take it needed. Awaiting an email of them to come through thank you for your time

This service was invaluable and helped provide long-term solutions, such as the parenting plan. We were able to agree matters between ourselves and reflect on them with our mediator. Although difficult at times, the process on a whole was amicable.

Amazing service. I recommend Alistair Carter. Highly recommended! Thank you for the guidance and the help offered with my situation.
